Day 1
So I have been through this journey before. I want this time to be the one that sticks for me. I am the heaviest I've ever been. I don't feel good about myself and I want to change that. When I got married I felt so good about all the hard work I had put in to lose the weight and I kept it off for quite a while but then life got overwhelming and I let things slip but now it's gone too far. I am starting today at 219lbs and hope that I can take the weight off and keep it off for many years to come. I know weightloss has it's ups and downs but I am hoping this is an up moment. I started my day off w/ some cottage cheese (1/2cup) low sodium turkey breast (4oz) and 1 of those thin sandwich breads (with a little butter I couldn't do it dry, yuck). I have had a yogurt for a snack and I am going to have a lean cuisine for lunch (Oh my friend Rebecca would be so proud, lol). I have some strawberries for later and I am not sure what I'll have for dinner yet but my calorie count is up to 760 w/ snacks and lunch so I have a little room to play when I get home. 440 calories to play with which is plenty for dinner...I also want to see if they have a zumba video on the netflix on demand thing. I think that would be a fun workout for the evening. Maybe if the rain quites I'll run in the morning but spring has made it to Providence so I won't hold my breath lol. I hope with this blog I can inspire others to take their weight loss journey and take it seriously. We all have our own troubles with food and I am working on mine. :)
